HAND CRAFTED CERAMICS
Sweetpea Ceramics was born from a need to create.
My name is Charlie, I have a BA in 3D Design and Craft and BSc in Occupational Therapy. My day-to-day life straddles the pressures of working in mental health services in the NHS and the need to feed my desires to make; taking mud and turning it into something beautiful.

My ceramics are inspired by my local landscapes in the Lake District. I am a keen hiker and love to take a dip in the remote tarns. My ceramics bring these spaces and memories into my home and yours, from the beaches to the mountains - nature in all it's glory.
The Ethos
Sweetpea Ceramics creates hand-thrown tableware and delicate jewellery. Each piece made to be held, with touch at the forefront of design; how a mug is gripped close on a cold day, how an earring should feel weightless even after a days wear, or how a necklace may be rubbed between thumb and finger absentmindedly when daydreaming
